Service Description

HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound) is still used by the NHS to kill cancer cells, particularly prostate cancer cells. In the aesthetics arena we use HIFU ultrasonic waves to heat up the collagen to renew and form new collagen. Many famous people are great fans of HIFU as a real alternative to surgery, Botox and fillers. HIFU can help you to achieve tighter and smoother skin. A course of 2-3 treatments are recommended 3 months apart to allow for the new collagen to form. Most clients see results after just 1 treatment and the results can last up to 3-4 years before another course is required. Some clients have just one treatment every 12-18 months after achieving their desired results to keep their collagen as healthy and youthful as possible. It is always best to have this treatment when you feel well and hydrated. HIFU can be combined with some of our other treatments on the same day as HIFU energy waves pass straight through the outer layers of the skin. If your skin is a little dry you could have a hydrating facial followed by a HIFU treatment. HIFU is also effective for a range of body treatments. Please ask for more information.
