Skin peels are a great skin pick me up for special occasions, in between deeper aesthetics course of treatments and to target many skin challenges: Erase fine lines & wrinkles Fade discoloration Tighten the skin Smooth & balance texture Minimise pores Helps treat acne Softens scar tissue Choose from a low level peel that works deeper than normal exfoliation and virtually no downtime, a medium peel for fine lines and deeper peels for more problematic areas. The deeper the peel the more downtime for the healing and repair of the skin, usually 5-10 days for the peeling to stop and the redness to subside. A course is usually recommended depending on your skin goals. Skin peels can be combined with micro-needling for amazing results and rejuvenation. Benefits of lighter peels usually last 4-8 weeks. Deeper peels can last 2-4 months. Monthly treatments help to keep your skin glowing and aid better absorption of your home care products. Lady May Aesthetics does not offer TCA peels, instead preferring a less invasive, more natural and gradual approach. Peels are short clinic treatments making them an ideal lunch time skin treat. If possible please arrive without wearing makeup. You can bring your makeup to reapply after if absolutely necessary. It is recommended, and in the interest of your skin health, not to reapply makeup for at least 24 hours after treatment.
